Riversway Festival

The 2012 Preston Riversway Festival will be from the 21th until the 22th of July. If you are looking for the mooring booking form you can download a copy by clicking here. We are always short of Moorings despite the improvements we have made so make sure you book early.

The weekend boasts over sixty guest boaters who sail to Preston from around the country to join in the fun, a host of water based activities such as boat trips around the dock, police search and rescue boat, have-a-go dragon boating and jet ski displays.

Street Theater is a major feature of the Riversway programme, keeping the crowds of all ages entertained across the weekend. The exhibition marquee offers a unique range of stalls to provide the perfect gift or even treat for yourself alongside a well stocked bar to quench the thirst of any festival goer. A must-see is ‘Sing the Docks’ run by More Music working with choirs, singers and festival goers building up towards two thousand and twelve singers harmonising over the waters in 2012.
